Návštěva Maasai Bomy V Taranguire

The Masai are a warm and proud people living life largely on their terms. They are one of the famous tribes in East Africa and usually recognized by their colourful clothing and jewellery. This experience gives you the opportunity to meet some of the Maasai and have a tour of a traditional Maasai Boma/ homestead.
While at the Boma an English-speaking member of the Maasai will give you a tour of their homestead while telling you about their culture and answer any questions you may have.
Visitors will be shown around the Maasai Boma, and are welcome to have a look the huts where Maasai families live and learn a few things about their way of living. The huts are made of wood, mud, and cow dung and normally built by women,
The visit takes between 30 - 45 minutes and at the end, you might consider participating in some of their activities like; allows the Maasai warriors would challenge men to engage in a spear-throwing match or perform a tribal dance, and ladies may choose to participate in beadwork. These experiences give you an insight of the Maasai culture.
It is always good to support the local community you visit by buying their handmade crafts, offer scholastic materials to children, this helps improve their standards of living and makes them appreciate tourism activities in their area.
